1. Keanu Reeves is dating artist Alexandra Grant
Speculations are rife that actor Keanu Reeves has been dating artist and philanthropist, Alexandra Grant since 2019. They had partnered on two books together, Ode to Happiness and Shadows, in 2011 and 2016, with Grant having done the illustrations and Reeves writing the text.
The John Wick 4 star recently said, “A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”
2. Your close relationships affect your physical health
According to a new study, your close relationships have a direct implication on your physical health. In the study, 4,005 participants completed daily check-ins of their blood pressure, heart rate, stress, and coping. Every three days, participants also shared reflections on their closest relationship.
Brian Don, the lead author of the study said, “Both positive and negative experiences in our relationships contribute to our daily stress, coping, and physiology, like blood pressure and heart rate reactivity. Additionally, it’s not just how we feel about our relationships overall that matters; the ups and downs are important too.”
3. When Nick slid into my DMs, I was in a tumultuous relationship: Priyanka Chopra
In the podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka Chopra told Dax Shepherd, “He (Nick) slid into my DMs on Twitter. I was in a tumultuous relationship at that time. This is 2016 and we had common friends who didn’t want me to be in my [previous] relationship. I was like 35, Nick was 25. I really put a stop to it in a way because I judged the book by the cover.”
The Dil Dhadakne Do actor added that her friends and Kevin Jonas (Nick’s brother) pushed them to spend time together. She met him and two months later, Nick Jonas became her fiancé. In December 2018, they got hitched in a lavish ceremony. Today, they are proud parents to Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
4. Bumble launches ‘Blind Speed Dating’
Dating app Bumble has launched a ‘Blind Speed Dating’ feature for Indian users. With this, users can hide profile photos for the first three minutes of messaging with a potential match, allowing them to focus on personality, instead of looks.
Bumble’s India Communications Director, Samarpita Samaddar shares, “This feature creates intrigue and anticipation in a low-pressure environment. In fact, our most recent research found that 68% of Indians are now more focused on emotional maturity than physical requirements.”
5. Jake Paul talks about self-love and sobriety
Talking about self-love and sobriety, YouTube influencer and boxer Jake Paul highlighted that spirituality, meditation, breath work, and ayahuasca use helped him combat alcohol addiction and improve himself.
“I’m in the same boat, right? Like, trying to figure out how to love myself, trying to get my mind fully right. And it’s not easy. Life’s not easy. And like, dealt with some of the same things. I’m like, how many — Two and a half months sober? But like, I decided to finally give it [alcohol] up,” he said.
